Obruni Dance Band is a Highlife and Afro-pop band that is based in Memphis, Tennessee. Obruni's music is heavily inspired by classic Highlife from Ghana and Nigeria. The band hopes to spread a love of Highlife and other Afro-pop to American audiences; to inspire those audiences to seek out the music made by the giants of Highlife; and ultimately to MAKE THEM DANCE!
